Overview

We invite applications for the role of an experienced Recruitment Consultant. This role centers around spearheading sales by identifying new clients while nurturing enduring relationships with both existing and prospective clients. The ideal candidate will be driven by passion and sales, boasting exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. A robust capacity to excel in demanding situations and a genuine aspiration to enrich a client's human capital are essential for this role.

Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

  • Talent Acquisition & Matching: Source, screen, and interview potential candidates for roles. Understand and match candidates’ skills, experiences, and preferences to the right job opportunities. Present suitable candidates to the companies and facilitate the interview process between the two parties.
  • Client Engagement: Work closely with companies and clients to understand their staffing needs, culture, and requirements. Establish strong relationships with clients to effectively manage their recruitment needs.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate job offers, including salary, benefits, and other terms, on behalf of both the candidate and the employer. They help to ensure that both parties are satisfied with the terms of the employment.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the recruitment arena. Attend relevant seminars, workshops, and networking events to foster relationships and gain industry insights.
  • Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and candidates is crucial. This helps establish trust and ensures that the consultant is a reliable partner in the recruitment process. Offer constructive feedback to candidates post-interviews and provide guidance for potential future opportunities.
  • Feedback and Improvement: After candidates are placed, often seek feedback from both parties to continuously improve their matching process and enhance client and candidate satisfaction.
  • Administration: Handle administrative tasks such as documentation, contract management, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant employment laws.
  • Networking: Attending industry events, conferences, and meetups can help expand your professional network and stay connected with key players in the industry.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field. (Relevant experience can be considered in lieu of a formal degree.)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in recruitment or similar roles.
  • Proficient in using ATS and other recruitment software
  • Excellent understanding of the landscape, including specific roles such as software developers, data scientists, network engineers, etc.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
