Overview

An exhibition sales manager is required to coordinate sales efforts to promote and sell products or services related to exhibitions, conventions, and other events.

Key Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a sales strategy for exhibition products and services (e.g: conferences, annual dinner, product launch) to achieve revenue goals.
  • Leads Nurturing: Build strong relationships with potential customers, increasing the likelihood of conversion and fostering long-term loyalty.
  • Pitching  &  Negotiation:   Effectively   communicate   the   value   proposition   of   the company's services and capabilities to potential employers.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients, exhibitors, and sponsors to enhance partnerships and secure repeat business.
  • Stakeholder  Management:  Identify  and  cultivate  relationships  with  potential  and existing  employers  to  create  collaboration  opportunities.  Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the timely delivery of services to job seekers and employers.
  • Networking:  Represent  the  company  in  meetings,  job  fairs,  and  other  events  to promote its brand and services.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of exhibition products and services.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Pre-Event Planning: Work with event planners and stakeholders to define objectives, create event plans, timelines, and budgets, and handle vendor contracts for venues, catering, and services.
  • Logistics Management: Oversee event setup, seating, decorations, and signage, coordinate vendor deliveries, and develop contingency plans for any logistical challenges.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in marketing, sales, business administration, or a related field.
  • All candidates should have at least 3 years experience and relevant experience in sales, marketing, or business development, especially within the staffing or workforce development field, that would be a valuable asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to effectively sell the value proposition of the company's services to employers.
  • Experience in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies, including and not limited to lead generation, cold calling, and networking.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, sales pipelines, and other sales tools and techniques.
  • Ability   to  work  collaboratively  with  cross-functional  teams  to  achieve  business objectives.
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Strong  analytical  and  problem-solving  skills  with  the  ability  to  use  data  to  drive decision-making.
