Job Summary:

The Project Manager (Business Awards) typically involves coordinating and facilitating communication between various stakeholders involved in a project. This role plays a critical role in ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and successful project outcomes. Strong interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of project management principles is a plus.

Key Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

  • Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and deliverables for new awards. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.

  • Team Management: Assemble project teams, assign roles and responsibilities, and provide leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively, including human resources, materials, and equipment, to ensure project tasks are completed efficiently.

  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring that the project remains within financial constraints. Handle cost estimation, tracking, and reporting.

  • Pitching & Negotiation: Effectively communicate the value proposition of the company's services and capabilities to potential clients.

  • Scope Management: Manage project scope by defining and controlling any changes that may arise during the project. Ensure that project scope aligns with the original objectives.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to best practices. Implement quality control processes to review and validate work.

  • Scheduling: Develop project schedules, set milestones, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of project tasks.

  • Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts and issues that may arise within the project team or between stakeholders. Seek resolutions to maintain a positive working environment.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage and manage relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, sponsors, and end-users. Ensure their needs and expectations are met.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular project status updates to senior management, including progress reports, budget analysis, and risk assessments.

  • Cross-functional: Working and collaborating closely with other departments and projects as needed to ensure all tasks are delivered efficiently and effectively, enhancing overall productivity and project success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any Business course, or related field. (Relevant experience can be considered in lieu of a formal degree including those qualified in Project Management - PMP).

  • Minimum 3 years experience in project planning and management or similar roles.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet or exceed revenue targets.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Lead project teams, engage stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and maintain seamless collaboration. Ensure quality standards, track progress, provide regular reports, and manage scope to achieve successful and timely project completion.
